With the addition of our new kitchen, we were looking forward to getting together a few bits and bobs to help plump it all out and make it actually look like a kitchen.
Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization, we don’t often have enough funds available to get new appliances for our building.
However, with the recent thanks to our contributors and supporters, we have been able to kit out our kitchen with some great appliances. The most notable appliances we have invested in are a range of Deep Fryers that will be great to us.
We wake up at 6 am anyway, so starting to cook around that time isn’t an issue for us at all really.
Thanks to Deep Fryer Reviews, we have managed to get together some brilliant Deep Fryers. They donated us two Deep Fryers in total, and the rest we bought. But still, we must give a shout out to them – they have been great to us.
For those of you who don’t know them, they are an Australian based blog who write reviews for the latest Deep Fryers. Check em out!
What Deep Fryers did we get?
Well, we didn’t get to choose what Deep Fryers we want, as they were models which they had reviewed and no longer had a use for.
The great thing here, is that they are going to be passing along the Deep Fryers they get in the future. They review one every week or so, so we’ll be growing up our kitchen in no time at all.
Our favorite Deep Fryer that they have donated is the Cuisinart CDF-100 Deep Fryer. It’s fantastic and does everything that we could ever need.
It cooks up quickly and cooks enough food for four of us. Considering we only have 20-members thus far, that means it takes around 30 minutes to cook for the whole team. Not too shabby!!
The other Deep Fryer we managed to get our hands on was the Presto 05442. It’s another fantastic Deep Fryer, although we do prefer the Cuisinart.
This one is a bit larger, but takes longer to heat up. Still, it means we can use both at once and get our cooking done twice as quickly! Brilliant!
